Grandma Rest In Peace

I just received bad news... Grandma have pass away today July 7th 2009. She is 85. No one have expected her to go so sudden. We do not even have time to say good bye.

I sincerely hope she will find peace and happiness in heaven. This incident make me think back long long time ago when I am staying with her and she cook and take care of me.

You will be miss by all of us

Lung Transplant

My mistress just had a lung transplant last Friday. It was a moment that I have been wating for the past 2-3 weeks. The suitable lungs that she have been waiting for are all taken up. I have to order one from the US hence the long wait.

As of last Friday evening I took her to the hospital and the Dr. did a quick swap and it is all go. Luckily she did not have to stay back in the hospital for close monitoring. Was discharge immediately.

Now I am expecting that she will be able to breath better and hence have a bit more stamina or energy to last on our adventures. But after doing some work out with her found no big change from before except maybe in the middle of her reps she feel a little more energetic. or is that my imagination after paying MYR 330 for the lungs. Moreover the little roar or moan that I am expecting from the transplant is not that evident yet. Will need to take it for more exercise later in the week.

What are you thinking? So cheap meh lungs... Yes for human it is but for a 4 wheeler that roar it is NOT!!

Darrel enjoying his daily evening stroll. Not being able to walk on his own is a problem for us. Everyone in the family is scare of holding him as he will keep turning round and round. It is a tough job.

Anyway when can you start walking my boy? I can see it is soon... Than you can run all you can like what your sister use to do. With that i foresee the next problem of chasing you. Perhaps the leash might come into good use again? Now where did I keep that??

My Dream - Mod - Phase 1

Ever since I got my driving license I have been dreaming about getting one of these beauty. At last my dream come true 1 1/2 years back and I manage to own one of this "Ultimate Driving Machine". There is no turning back after you been driving in one of this machine. The driving dynamic is just awesome. The handling is legendary, straigth six is the way to go.

Have been taking my time to mod it slowly and apprciate every aspect of it. Here are some of the phase 1 mod I have done.

Chloe's First Ride

This was taken some time back when she get it as a present from the grand parents

At first when she get the bike she was like pedalling the thing backwards a bit and then forward, she did not manage to make the pedal go full circle. After sometime she got the hang of it and is now riding round the house at full speed.

Wow! After a long wait I have at last seen the face of Darrel.

Darrel join us on 5th Sept 2008. At that time he was 3.4kg. Although a bit smaller than the sister he is healthy.

Darrel just arrived home today 10th Sept 2008, after staying an addtional 2 days in the nursery for jauntice (Hope the spelling is correct).

Fast Forwarding to Chloe's 2nd Birthday

Time really flies.... At a blink of an eye Chloe is now 2. No longer like last year where she is stilleasy to look after... Nowadays she can run and is pretty good at that.. If we do not keep an eye even for a second disaster!

Well.. That is part of the fun at least for me since I am not doing most of the chasing... Can't wait to see what is install in the future.

Visit to Sydney

Just got back from a 2 week business trip to Sydney. Never been so glad to be home.. Sydney is definitely a 'boring' place for me. Shop closes early except for Thur. there is nothing to do unless you are into pubbing and clubbing...

The matter was make worse as I was travelling with my boss and force to stay at a 'ulu' place call Manly... Well to Sydneysiders this is a very nice place to relax and of course SURFING. Yes it had a nice beach to it but too bad I don't swim and surf. To make things worse it is winter now and not so much activity going on in Manly.

I am not going to talk about what I do at work but what I did to pass my time. This is not my first trip to Sydney so I have done all the Opera House, Harbour cruise etc. I did some stuff that I have not done on my last trip years back..

Manage to visit some cute friends from Australia like the kangaroo, Tasmania devil, koala etc.

After my trip to the zoo and have fun with some of the cuties there.. That night it self I had this for dinner... How Ironic.

Roo Steak

Another interesting place in Sydney which I think is the best place and it is a place that you should not miss if you visit Sydney, Blue Mountain. Sad to say I did not spend too much time there because I was there only for a day trip and we started our journey late in the morning. By the time we reach there is was already afternoon.

Three sister at Echo Point, Blue Mountain

Why I like the Blue Mountain so much it is because of the Beautiful scenery and also the weather at this time of the year which is winter... It was like 4 degrees when I was there. I would recommend to spend at least 2-3 days in Blue Mountain.. There is a lot of interesting and nice hiking trail up there.

Was really really glad to be back after 2 weeks of steak, lamb and all the western food that I had.. I have been missing the local Malaysian food like our "Tai Chao" and all the nice food in Penang and Ipoh.

Had a very interesting meal lasy night.... What I had was something of a mix between spider + Crab

Had this fellow cook in 3 ways

The Legs were cut and cook "Chiu Yim Style"

The roe were steam in egg, mushroom and some chinese cooking wine

The balance of the meat cook in Superior Stock (Seong Tong)

My verdict is that compare to the lobster I will definetely go for the lobster which taste better and more value for money...

However from my previous experience with the King Crab the Spider Crab taste more or less the same...

I could not believe what I am seeing.... Not that I never heard of this but this is the first time I am seeing this for REAL....
C'mon if you want to eat chocolate(s) forget about health... I am sure this is tasteless... For the people who actually buy in to this... GET A LIFE!! Anyway we should "live to eat" and not "eat to live"
